About me

Iris is a Finnish, Berlin-based singer, musician and vocal teacher with a love for all styles from pop and rock to metal.

Iris's goal is to empower singers to use their voice in a variety of ways combining basic vocal technique with extreme techniques such as screaming and growling.

With beginners the focus is on the basics and extreme techniques can be worked on simultaneously.

With advanced singers specific techniques can be pinpointed.

Iris has worked as a band coach at Music Empowerment Mobility Exchange (MEME), a collaborative European project which empowers youth to engage in music making. Iris has also given Vocal Workshops at MEME and DICE Festival.

The lessons are in German, English or Finnish and offered in person at Rockhaus, Buchberger str. 6, 10365 Berlin (U5 Magdalenenstr.) and online.
